Christian Authors on Tour hosts its final Christmas Extravaganza:
Multiple Events Scheduled in Baltimore on December 4 - 5
National- This weekend marks a special occasion for Christian Authors on Tour (www.christianauthorsontour.com), a group of Christian fiction and non-fiction authors who use writing as a tool for Christian ministry. More than a dozen of the group’s current membership will be in Baltimore, MD this weekend to participate in a Christmas Extravaganza and to celebrate the last stop on the2010 Trustworthy and True: Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT).
Christian Authors on Tour (CAOT)is a project sponsored by TAKE ACTION! Publishing (www.takeactionpublishing.com), a subsidiary of Create-A-Book Baltimore. For the past two years, CAOT has mobilized Christian fiction and non-fiction authors to share their books as tools for Christian ministry. Each year, CAOT launched with a different theme, foundation scripture and tour schedule. During the2008 - 2009 year, the theme was Voices of Thanksgiving: Christian Authors on Tour andthe foundation scripture wasPsalm 26:6 – 8. The 2008 - 2009 Tour included more than two dozen authors who participated in book talks and booksignings in and around the DC/MD/DE region. In February2010, the CAOT launched a new Tour with the theme:Trustworthy and True: Christian Authors on Tour. Revelation 21:5is its foundation scripture. The 2010 Tour has included stops in several U.S. cities including Savannah, GA [the Savannah Book Festival], Shepherdstown, WV [the Common Ground International Book Fest] and Harlem, NY [the Harlem Book Festival]. The 2010 Tour also included a two-day Christian writer’s conference part of a 5-day Western Caribbean cruise.
Closing activities for the 2010 Tour include a panel discussion with a Baltimore-based writer’s group, a holiday book talk at a popular Inner Harbor bookstore, a LIVE radio interview with a nationally-renown local talk radio station and a booksigning at a local HCBU as part of a holiday concert featuring Richard Smallwood.
